Tulamben has the USAT Liberty wreck, close enough to shore to snorkel over. Amed is a run of fishing villages with black-sand bays. Besakih is the largest temple complex on the island, Tirta Gangga and Taman Ujung are royal water palaces worth slowing down for, and Sidemen valley is where we would stay if we wanted rice terraces without Ubud's traffic.
