Same estate, smaller crowd. Segara is one of four AYANA hotels sharing those 90 hectares, and guests get the run of all 14 pools, the beaches, the spa and 30 restaurants, with Rock Bar a short walk away. Every room has a sea view and a balcony, and there is a rooftop pool belonging to Segara alone.
That is the case we would make for choosing it over the flagship. The caveat is the evidence base: 9.1 is strong, but it comes from around 220 guests rather than the thousands behind its sister properties, so the picture is less settled. And because so much of the appeal sits outside the building, expect to walk or shuttle for it. Anyone who wants everything within fifty steps of their room should book a self-contained hotel instead.
