Rooms are air-conditioned with a private balcony and a mini-bar, some with a bathtub. Diving and snorkelling are arranged on site, which is why most people come to Amed in the first place. The drive is about two hours from the airport and that is the real filter. We would come for three nights minimum, because doing this as an overnight stop wastes both the journey and the water.
