The garden takes its design from a Balinese water palace and is more considered than the area usually manages. Rooms have a private balcony or terrace over the garden or pool, with a fridge, a vanity table and a sofa bed, which matters when there are four of you. There is live music at the restaurant most nights. This is solid mid-range Kuta: comfortable, unremarkable, well positioned. Book it for the walking distances and we doubt you will think much more about it, which is not a criticism.
