Full Description

Kuta Beach's wide, sandy-bottomed break makes it one of the most forgiving places in Bali to learn to surf, there's no reef to worry about if you take a spill. Lessons start on the sand with the basics of standing up, paddling, and reading the water, before heading into the shallows with an instructor alongside for the rest of the session.

Boards, rash guards, and leashes are provided, and instructors are experienced with complete beginners. Both private and small-group lessons are available, and sessions typically run for around two hours.
