ARMA Museum in Ubud runs a rotating schedule of six traditional Balinese dance performances, each staged on a fixed day of the week rather than nightly, so the show on offer depends on the date booked.
The lineup includes the Kecak Dance, a voice-only chorus of around 100 men performing without instruments; the Ramayana Ballet, a stylised retelling of the Ramayana epic; and Legong Dance Lasem, centred on a royal conflict over a rejected marriage proposal. Two Barong performances round out the schedule, one focused on the relationship between humans and the natural world, the other built around the Tabuh Penegak Bebarongan musical repertoire.
Because each performance runs on a specific day (for example, Kecak on Monday and Wednesday, Barong Dance on Tuesday), the ticket is tied to a fixed schedule rather than a flexible daily show. Admission also includes entry to ARMA's art galleries.
