Full Description
The Tegallalang terraces sit about twenty minutes north of Ubud along Jalan Raya Tegallalang, where the valley falls away in steps of green paddy. Paths and staircases run down through the fields and up the far side, and cafes line the road above with tables facing the view.
The site opens daily from 8am to 6pm. Entry is collected at the gate, and separate operators along the rim charge their own rates for jungle swings, zip lines and photo platforms. The walk down and back is short in distance but steep, and the steps are uneven in places.
